PostSubject: Bowling History at Super Bowl today!   October 3rd 2010, 08:54

Today at 12:30 p.m., I will introduce a new tournament format that has never been used in Canada! It's called a Swiss Style Tournament. Swiss style tournaments have been going on since the early 1970's....mostly on the west coast of United States, when team bowling was still in its hayday.
This format uses individual match-ups, combined with team match-ups to accumulate swiss style points to determine the champion.
Todays format, we will be using a doubles format for the Swiss. But Swisses can also be formatted for 3 person, 4 person, and 5-person teams. Swisses can be scratch or handicap.Todays Swiss will be scratch.
There has been talk of a trio handicap Swiss in the near future.
